Marathons
Promos are the equivalent of a broadcast haiku, except the restriction is with seconds and not syllables (thank God). You have to get in, say something clever or compelling (hopefully both) and get the heck outta there in 10, 20, or 30 seconds. Sean Prophet and I became one of the marathon go to vendors for a while at FX Networks. Below are just a few of the promos I wrote and produced for those special binge watching opportunities.
